The Challenges

As a Solo Designers, I help the CEO and Product managers to iterate the design requirements of the internal team according to previously evaluated problems.

Make designs according to the Style Guide a company have, and also help with the scalability of colors, components and design themes desired by internal parties.

I also help evaluate designs that have a high bounce rate. and evaluate with the internal team to improve it

What i do

After several basic concepts were completed and according to the information needs to be conveyed, I made several options that would be assessed by the internal teams.
Define basic specifications for scalability requirements for Elevation (Spacing, Rounded, Stroke, Primary Color etc)
After the elevation and some basic component concepts were done, I created all of the High Fidelity requirements

I use the notion to create documentation for all phases of my work, all data from assets to the handover process is carried out on the notion to document it

I use figma for almost all parts, Starting from finding and creating new flows, I do Wirefrsming, High fidelity, to the Prototyping process with Figma

Whimsichal

I use Whimsichal to create concepts with Low Fidelity and Brainstorming with Product Managers

Lesson learned

Lesson learned: Being a solo designer is very complex. Where I prepare a lot of things when the sprint runs. I have to start at least 2 weeks early to have a time gap, and understand the flow from the Exploration side, I also have to be preventive in providing design results to get feedback quickly. I also take into account feedback from stakeholders so that it doesn't come together so I can focus on other tasks. This project can be maximized if there are other designers who help me in making decisions and fulfill business needs with deeper and more focused information when doing research
